Evolution of Web

Evolution of Web describes Web from it's origin up to the new trends and 
technologies. It is based on the literature survey  
carried out by me. It begins from the 
first proposal, pre Web technologies that were taken in, and how it evolves in 
different directions. In the ways information is processed, the first Web, the static 
Web is being  evolved into Sematic Web and to an Intelligent Web. In the direction of  
application development,  there are so many mile stones such as dynamic Web, 
Interactive Web, Secure Web and Evolutionary Web. Similarly, there were different 
media technologies used at different times. 
This paper does not consider the growth of the Web in quantity.
